5 of our Favorite Nashville Burgers
A beer garden, a taco shop, a diner, and more

🤠 Howdy, Nashville. This is The Nashville Grapevine, the newsletter that brings you (almost) all things Nashville.
Today, we are going to tell you about 5 of our favorite Nashville burgers:
Cledis
Fat Mo’s
Redheaded Stranger
Brown’s Diner
Hugh Baby’s
Let’s get into it.
Cledis
Cledis has a vast number of creative Smash Burgers to try. One creation called Skippy Thai Yay involves Thai peanut butter sauce while another named Hillbilly Jim features bologna and doritos.
They have two locations: Elm Hill Pike and, recently, Bellevue!
TOGETHER WITH
Fat Mo’s
Born in Nashville to Iranian immigrants, Fat Mo’s has some of the biggest burgers in town. Nashvillians know the Fat Mo’s buildings when they see them, especially the one in East Nashville.
Skip the fast food burger next time and roll through the Fat Mo’s drive-thru!
Redheaded Stranger
This one is a bit different than the rest of the list, but it deserves to be on it. While normally serving up Tex-Mex, Redheaded Stranger’s green chile burger is one of the best burgers in town.
Go try the rest of their food as well, but do not forget to get a burger!
Brown’s Diner
One of my favorite spots in town, if I am not getting breakfast here, I am for sure getting the burger. Brown’s Diner has been around for almost 100 years and serves a classic burger that locals have known and love.
Stop in and try a Nashville legacy!
Hugh Baby’s
Hugh Baby’s has that old-school diner mixed with fast food feel. They serve up quick and delicious burgers. Don’t let the good branding scare you away, their burgers are worth it.
This is one of the perfect quick bites in Nashville!
