5 of our Favorite Nashville Shops

🤠 Howdy, Nashville. This is The Nashville Grapevine, the newsletter that brings you (almost) all things Nashville.
Nashville has no shortage of unique shops where you can find almost anything you can dream up. Today, we are going to tell you about 5 of our favorite shops in town:

White’s Mercantile

imogene + willie
Located in 12 South in an old renovated gas station, imogene + willie specializes in denim, but has since expanded to shirts, hats, and other items. All of their products are made in the USA.
You may have even seen their classic “Support Live Music” hats and tees around town.
Grimey’s New & Preloved Music
Located in East Nashville, this is one of, if not the coolest, store in Nashville. Many famous musicians come here to do record signings, and the murals of new albums coming out, down the side of the building, are my favorite.
There is also a vintage shop behind it, and a coffee shop/brewery beside it, so you can make a whole day out of your visit.
McKay’s | Bookstore & Record Store
Located out towards Bellevue, this is the place to go on a rainy day. You could spend hours digging through the great deals on books, games, records, and more that they have.
They have something for everyone here!
White’s Mercantile
Also known as “A general store for the modern tastemaker”, White’s started in 2013 to fill a shopping void in Nashville and revitalize the concept of a general store. They now boast five locations.
The one in 12 South is moving to the old Mafiazos location in case anyone was wondering.
Starland Vintage & Unusual
Located on 8th Ave, Starland has a great selection of vintage items. I purchased a few cool sports items here, but if you want to get something funky, they have that as well.
A lot of vintage stores can get niched down, but they have something for everyone here!
