The Station Inn

Gulch

If you love bluegrass, this is the place to go in Nashville. It is located in the hustle and bustle of the Gulch, but hasn’t changed a bit, and they don’t plan on changing a bit. They play bluegrass, classic country, Americana, and roots music seven nights a week. Legends such as Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, and more have played here.

The 5 Spot

East Nashville

The 5 Spot was featured in the hit TV show “Nashville,” but the real bands are even better. They play a variety of music here, such as Motown Mondays and Sunday Night Soul. Lady Gaga even started her 2016 tour here.

The Basement

8th Ave S

The Basement is exactly the name, a basement. It’s small and loud, but an amazing place to see a show. Artists such as The Lumineers, Sturgill Simpson, and Kacey Musgraves have played here. Check out their “New Faces Night.”

Cobra Nashville

East Nashville

Located on Gallatin Road, the Cobra is a great place to watch Rock acts. They pride themselves on being a “dive” bar and are open every day from 3 pm to 3 am.

Springwater Supper Club & Lounge

Midtown

Here is your answer to our trivia question! Springwater has been open as a bar since 1897 and is the oldest bar not only in Nashville, but in Tennessee. It has been operating as a club for nearly 40 years and is cash only. You can see anything from rock bands to comedians here.
