🍽️ Restaurant Run of the Week: International Market
One of the best Thai spots in Nashville for 45 years..

TOGETHER WITH
🤠 Howdy -
International Market & Restaurant was opened in 1975 on Belmont Blvd. They introduced many Belmont students and Nashvillians to “their first taste of legit Thai cuisine.” In 2021, Win and Patti Myint’s kids, Anna and Arnold Myint, opened version 2.0 of International Market. This IM2 resides across the street from the original location.
IM2, as IM1 was, is so authentic and delicious that it received the official Thai cuisine seal of approval from The Ministry of Commerce and Royal Thai Government. This is a first for Nashville; after visiting, I see why they earned this recognition.
We recommend making a reservation but if you don’t there are usually plenty of seats at the bar. The bartender was super friendly which can be a rarity in some places. They also have a lunch steam table that I have to go back and try.
📍Location: Belmont
🍴Recommendation: Drunken Noodle, but there are so many other options I need to try
⭐️ Highlight: Food, so many delicious options
🔎 Last Eaten Review: Miang Khao Tod Lettuce Wrap
The lettuce wraps were a great appetizer. There were so many different flavors that blended perfectly together. They were not too filling, but they gave you a lot of wraps, so this would be the perfect dish for a group.
