🤠 Howdy -

King Tut’s is among the many hidden gems along Nolensville Pike in Nashville. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a Keith Haring-esque painted food truck. Here you will order your food and then go to the covered patio, a perfectly serene place to eat alongside the lively Nolensville Pike.

Ragab Rashwan started King Tut’s in NYC in 2010, but in 2014, he brought his Egyptian cuisine to Nashville. He mastered his craft in his homeland of Egypt before wanting to share his food with more of the world. Like most Egyptian food, his menu has a variety of vegetarian options, but there are some great meat options as well.

We recommend making the trip to give King Tut’s a try!

🔎 Last Eaten Review: Kofta Sandwich

The kofta sandwich hit the spot, as I am sure many items on the menu would. This kofta was seasoned to perfection, the bread was authentic (from Antioch's St. George Market), and the pickled onions and carrots brought the whole thing together. One plus was the plentiful portion of kofta. You did have to eat a few bites before you could turn it into a sandwich, but I have no complaints.
