🍽️ Restaurant Run of the Week: Mesero

Upscale Mexican cuisine in 12 South..

In partnership with

🤠 Howdy, Nashville. This is The Nashville Grapevine, the newsletter that brings you (almost) all things Nashville.

Let’s get into it.

Mesero opened its first location outside of Texas or Oklahoma in Nashville on 12 South. It sits right next to The Henry. Mesero prides itself on an upscale environment and creative spins on Mexican classics.

One great time to go is during their happy hour, which is held weekdays from 2 pm until 6 pm. You can get an old-fashioned or a margarita for only $7, and the quality is incredible. This is well worth it. There are some food deals as well.

🔎 Last Eaten Review: Atún Ahí Tacos

The Ahi tacos were a must-order again dish. The only complaint is that they could have used a double corn shell. The tuna was fresh and cooked to perfection, the sesame seeds added a nice texture, and the roasted red pepper drizzle combined it all beautifully.

seared ahi tuna, sesame seed, pico, roasted red pepper drizzle, green onions, arroz blanco
