🍽️ Restaurant Run of the Week: Osake
They have one of the best happy hours if you like sushi..

🤠 Howdy, Nashville. This is The Nashville Grapevine, the newsletter that brings you (almost) all things Nashville.
Let’s get into it.
First things first, we launched a Nashville merch storefront that we will be updating frequently. Feel free to check it out HERE. THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS’ JOKE.
Today, we are going to talk about Osake in Midtown. They serve up Japanese cuisine and are located in Midtown right next door to Exit/In, making this a perfect spot to grab a bite before catching a concert.

From my experience, Osake has some of the cheaper sushi prices around. This gets even better when you factor in their happy hour. Last I checked, it was M- F until 7 pm, and you get buy one, get one half-off sushi, plus some alcohol deals. If you want a fancy date night, this is not the spot, but if you want great food in a casual setting, Osake is perfect.
📍Location: Midtown
🍴Recommendation: Happy hour
⭐️ Highlight: Cost
🔎 Last Eaten Review: Sushi
Osake offers incredible sushi at incredible prices. I know people can have strong opinions for or against this, but I love a Philly roll. Cream cheese in sushi belongs. That being said, this was one of the best Philly rolls I have had. It had the perfect ratio of cream cheese and avocado and did not skimp on anything.
One of the special rolls we got was the cherry blossom roll, which features spicy tuna, tempura flakes inside, tuna and avocado on top, spicy mayo, and eel sauce.
