Postino didn’t start in Music City, but its roots go back to a simple, neighborhood-centric idea that’s made it a beloved name across the country. Upward Projects turned a historic post office in Phoenix, Arizona, into the first Postino location. Postino means ā€œpostmanā€ in Italian, the first location inspiring the name, of course.

Postino now has over 30 locations across 7 states. The Nashville location opened in 12 South in November 2024. Everyone remembers the Taqueria del Sol that stood there before. I was sad to see that go, but Postino has been a nice replacement.

Postino’s menu is made for sharing and snacking, with the bruschetta boards stealing the spotlight. They’re easy to mix and match, come out on long wooden boards, and are light enough that you can try a few without feeling stuffed. The rest of the menu keeps things simple and well done, with paninis, salads, and small plates that pair naturally with a glass of wine. It’s the kind of food that fits the vibe perfectly and keeps you hanging around a little longer than planned.

Postino is especially hard to beat when it comes to deals. Their happy hour is a go-to for a Saturday afternoon hang to get cheaper beer and wine. Mondays are the real standout, though, after 8 pm, you can grab a bottle of wine and a bruschetta board for just $25. It’s one of those deals that feels almost too good for the quality, and it’s perfect for a casual date night or an easy way to kick off the week with friends.

šŸ”Ž Last Eaten Review: Bruschetta Board

The bottle of wine and a bruschetta board for $25 deal is hard to beat. This is essentially a third of the cost. You have 11 options to choose from, plus a rotating chef’s choice option. This time around, that was buffalo blue cheese cauliflower. My favorite was the burrata, bacon, arugula, & tomato, which is the second from the right in this picture.
