š½ļø Restaurant Run of the Week: Puffy Muffin
A Nashville-area classic that still delivers..

š¤ Howdy, Nashville. This is The Nashville Grapevine, the newsletter that brings you (almost) all things Nashville.
Letās get into it.
Support the Grapevine
The Nashville Grapevine is 100% free and independently owned and operated. Your contributions go toward keeping us going so we can keep supplying you with the good eats and events. I appreciate any and all support!
If you grew up anywhere around Nashville, thereās a good chance youāve been to Puffy Muffin at least once. And if you havenāt, this is one of those spots that immediately feels familiar the second you walk in.
Located down in Brentwood, Puffy Muffin has been around since the late ā80s, and it shows in the best way possible. Cozy bakery vibes, super friendly staff, and a menu that sticks to what it does best instead of trying to be trendy.
Breakfast and brunch are the move here. The desserts and pastries get most of the attention, but the savory options deserve just as much love: quiche, casseroles, and classic breakfast plates that feel homemade in the best way.
The bakery case alone can stop you in your tracks. Cinnamon rolls, scones, cakes, and desserts that somehow feel both comforting and special at the same time. Itās also a go-to if you need a cake for a birthday, shower, or any celebration that calls for something legit. I went with a coconut creme pie that was delicious.
Puffy Muffin isnāt flashy, and thatās exactly why people keep coming back. Itās relaxed, welcoming, and feels like a place that hasnāt changed much because it didnāt need to.
In a city full of new restaurants popping up every week, Puffy Muffin is a reminder that consistency matters. Itās a classic Nashville-area spot thatās done things the right way for decades. If youāre looking for a reliable breakfast, a slow brunch, or just a really solid pastry and coffee, this oneās always a safe bet.
Sometimes the classics really are the best.

The Daily Immune Ritual I Trust All Winter Long
Winter is when Iām most intentional about supporting my immune system, and Piqueās Daily Immune has become one of my non-negotiables. Itās the kind of daily ritual that feels supportive, not overwhelming and one I actually look forward to.
What sets Daily Immune apart is its liposomal vitamin C, which helps deliver nutrients more effectively to your bloodstream and immune cells, where they can truly do their job. I notice the difference in how steady and resilient I feel, especially during colder months when my body needs extra support. The addition of elderberry gives it that extra layer of seasonal immune defense I trust.
Daily Immune supports my everyday immunity, collagen production, skin resilience, and antioxidant protection all in one simple step. I love that it fits seamlessly into my routine and tastes bright and refreshing.
Winter wellness doesnāt need to be extreme to be effective. For me, Daily Immune is an easy, consistent way to feel supported, strong, and cared for all season long

āļø Highlight: Service, atmosphere, pastries
š Last Eaten Review: Farmhouse Breakfast
The Farmhouse Breakfast at Puffy Muffin is an easy win if you want something filling that still tastes homemade. I went with sausage over bacon and swapped the toast for biscuits and gravy, then added a pancake as my side with blueberries. Everything came out warm and comforting: fluffy scrambled eggs, hearty sausage, a light blueberry pancake, and biscuits and gravy that tasted straight out of someoneās kitchen. Simple, classic Southern breakfast done right.
