Urban Cookhouse was started in Homewood, Alabama, in 2010 and now has locations across the Southeast. They emphasize the quality of their ingredients and cook all of their meats on a Big Green Egg to give them a smoky flavor.
I normally like to talk about restaurants local to Nashville but I will also sprinkle in chains that I think are worth talking about and bring value to the city we know and love.
Their Nashville location is in Midtown so itβs not the easiest location to access but you can get your parking validated for the lot right behind the restaurant. The quality of the ingredients always makes me want to go back and try something new. Urban Cookhouse is a great lunch or casual dinner spot. They even have a couple of TVs and a small bar if you are inclined.

π Last Eaten Review: Urban Cowboy with Vegetable Soup
The Urban Cowboy was a fantastic lunch sandwich. The steak was delicious and everything else complimented it to a T. The vegetable soup was chock-full of various vegetables and had a great flavor. For $14, this was a great lunch combo.
Lime-marinated steak, caramelized onions & peppers, pepperjack, aioli on a French roll
