I Almost Threw Out My Keurig. It Wasn't Broken.
Every cup from my Keurig started tasting weak, flat, stale — so I unplugged it and stuck it in a closet. Then I learned the dirty secret of grocery store K-Cups: by the time a pod reaches your kitchen, it's usually spent months going from factory to warehouse to truck to shelf. The flavor oils are long gone. Some brands even over-roast to hide it.
The fix wasn't a new machine. It was fresh pods from Angelino's, a family-owned L.A. roastery that roasts, packs, and ships within 3–5 days — straight to your door, from 39¢ a cup. Over 1,000,000 happy customers. 50+ flavors, no subscription required, and 15% off your first order, applied automatically at checkout.
Jack White Concert
FRIDAY & SATURDAY
Rock's most restless genius comes home to Nashville for two nights at The Truth on Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th, doors at 7 PM, show at 8, with Nashville's own Snõõper opening both nights. The setlist pulls from across his entire catalog, White Stripes classics, Raconteurs cuts, and solo work, and if you've seen him before, you already know this is one of those shows.
Just get ready to wait in line at this new venue!
Fall Tennessee Craft Fair
FRIDAY, SATURDAY, & SUNDAY
One of the top 25 craft fairs in the country sets up free of charge on the Great Lawn at Centennial Park October 9th-11th, with nearly 200 juried artists showcasing traditional and contemporary handmade work, live artisan demonstrations, a Kids' Tent, and local food vendors. Friday and Saturday run 10 AM to 6 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM; free admission, free to browse, 45,000 visitors annually for a reason.
A world-class craft fair in Centennial Park in October!
Fall Ball Y’all
SATURDAY
The Nashville Farmers Market throws its free annual Fall Ball Y'all festival on Saturday, October 10th from 10 AM to 2 PM, with live music on two stages, free pony rides, a petting zoo, live cooking demos from Nossi College of Art & Design, a kids' craft zone with tractor climbing, fall produce, artisan vendors, and a pie baking contest. Free parking too.
Fall doesn't get more Nashville than this!
Produce Place Fall Fest
SATURDAY
The Produce Place's Fall Fest is back after a long hiatus on Saturday, October 10th, with DJ Jake spinning, local vendors, pumpkin painting, free samples, specialty fall items, and apple cider tasting. Shop local, eat local, and add it to the list of reasons to get outside this weekend.
The perfect Saturday morning warm-up before the rest of the weekend kicks in!
Football Weekend
SATURDAY - SUNDAY
Vanderbilt hosts Ole Miss at FirstBank Stadium on Saturday in what should be a big SEC matchup at home, and the Titans flip the city to football mode on Sunday with a noon home game against the Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium, tickets starting at $38.
Two Nashville football games in one weekend is a good problem to have!
