PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
Sound familiar?
Over 4 million people have had the same lightbulb moment.
Morning Brew is a free daily newsletter that breaks down what's happening in business, finance, and tech — clearly, quickly, and with enough personality to make it the best email in your inbox.
No yelling. No filler. Just the news, finally making sense.
Music City Hot Chicken Festival
SATURDAY
Nashville's most iconic July 4th tradition turns 20 this year, bringing the city's best hot chicken spot; Prince's, Hattie B's, Hurt's, Eugene's, and more, to East Park from 11 AM to 3 PM, with Yazoo beer, live music from Mount Worcester, Animaleja, and Fly2k, and a fire truck parade kicking things off at 10:30 AM on Woodland.
It's completely FREE, all ages, and benefits Metro Parks & Recreation, which means eating your body weight in spicy chicken is technically a civic act!
Red, White, & Boom - SOLD OUT
SATURDAY
Adventure Science Center throws its annual 4th of July party on Saturday, July 4, from 6:30–10 PM, with after-hours access to exhibits, live science demos, magic shows, planetarium laser shows, and a prime skyline view of Nashville's fireworks from the upper lot at 9:30 PM. Tickets are fully sold out, but it's worth knowing about for next year; this one sells out every single time.
If you didn't grab tickets, go fight the downtown crowds and make sure to act fast next year!
Nashville Sounds Independence Day Celebration
SATURDAY
The Nashville Sounds play ball on the Fourth at First Horizon Park, and there's no better way to do Independence Day than a summer night of minor league baseball with a post-game fireworks show over the field. Grab your tickets through the link, settle in with a hot dog and a cold one, and let the Sounds handle the entertainment while you handle the relaxing.
There is also a Light Up Stick Giveaway to the first 5,000 fans postgame!
Music City July 4th 5K - SOLD OUT
SATURDAY
The Music City July 4th 5K kicks off at 8 AM at Centennial Park on the Fourth, with a 5K, 1-mile walk/run, and kids run on a course that loops through one of Nashville's best parks. Every finisher gets a medal and a participant tee. Registration is completely sold out, but if you're already signed up, packet pickup runs from Wednesday through Friday before race day.
Nothing says "I earned this hot chicken" quite like a 5K before 9 AM on a holiday!
Sunday Salsa Series at Acme
SUNDAY
Acme Feed & Seed on Broadway hosts its free monthly Sunday Salsa night on the first Sunday of every month at 7 PM, featuring live salsa music from Giovanni Rodriguez and friends on the first floor; all ages and all skill levels welcome, no cover. It's one of those genuinely fun, genuinely free Nashville nights that feels like a local secret hiding in plain sight on Broadway.
You don't even have to know how to salsa to show up!
