Nashville Film Festival
THURSDAY - WEDNESDAY
The 57th Nashville Film Festival runs September 24th-30th across venues including the Belcourt Theatre, with nearly 150 films from around the globe, filmmaker Q&As, industry panels, parties, and a Creators Conference. The closing night film is Being Heumann, directed by Academy Award winner SiĆ¢n Heder, on Wednesday, September 30th at the Belcourt.

Nashville Greek Festival
FRIDAY, SATURDAY, & SUNDAY
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church opens its doors for the 37th Nashville Greek Festival this weekend: Friday from 4-9 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from noon to 5 PM. There will be home-cooked Greek food, bouzouki music and dancing, church tours, imported goods vendors, and a full pastry shop loaded with baklava and loukoumades. Admission is $5 for the whole weekend; kids 12 and under are free, and first responders get in free with valid ID.
This one's been going for 37 years for a reason!
Artville
FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Nashville's only citywide public visual arts festival returns for its fourth year at Walk of Fame Park downtown, with large-scale murals, public art installations, the American Artisan Festival featuring handcraft and fine art vendors from across the country, and evening events in Wedgewood Houston and Germantown. It all kicks off Thursday, September 24, with Artville Afterdark at Cumberland Park, a free nighttime celebration of light, sound, and projection mapping from 6-9 PM.
If you haven't been to Artville yet, this is the one to finally make it to!
Bourbon & Brews Oktoberfest
SATURDAY
Thistle & Rye at Conrad Nashville throws its first annual Bourbon & Brews Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 26, from 1-4 PM, with 20 beer and bourbon tasting stations, a tasting passport and commemorative stein, live entertainment, and a full spread of German eats; think beer-braised pork shoulder, brat sliders, chicken schnitzel, Bavarian soft pretzels, and warm potato salad. Come dressed in your best lederhosen or dirndl for a shot at the Best-Dressed Oktoberfest Contest.
Nashville is always going to make Oktoberfest its own!
Nashville Predators Preseason Game
SATURDAY
The Predators have a preseason game on Saturday, September 26 at 2 PM, hosting the Carolina Hurricanes at Bridgestone Arena in what should be a loud early-season showdown at Smashville. Hockey is back.
