Kindling Arts Festival 2026: Utopies in West Nashville
THURSDAY-SUNDAY
Nashville's most boundary-pushing arts festival runs Thursday through Sunday, July 23-26, across 8 venues in West Nashville; OZ Arts, Darkhorse Theater, The Barbershop Theater, the Curb Center at Vanderbilt, and more, with 22 shows and 150+ local artists exploring the theme of Utopias. All-Access Festival Passes are $109 standard or $149 VIP, with individual show tickets also available, and if you volunteer 4 hours, you get a free ticket to any show of your choice.
It's the kind of weekend that reminds you Nashville has a serious arts scene that has nothing to do with Broadway!
Turnpike Troubadours: Wild America Tour at Ascend Amphitheater
FRIDAY
The Turnpike Troubadours bring their Wild America Tour to Ascend Amphitheater on Friday, July 25 at 7 PM, with Muscadine Bloodline and The Creekers opening and doors at 5:30 PM. The Oklahoma Red Dirt legends just got inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and appeared on Yellowstone; this is the moment they're at peak everything.
Bonus is that I will be at this show!
Full Moon Pickin’ Party at Percy Warner Park
FRIDAY
The beloved Full Moon Pickin' Party bluegrass series, nearly 30 years running, returns to Percy Warner Park on July 24, with live bluegrass under the stars, food trucks, cold beer, and proceeds benefiting the Friends of Warner Parks. Tickets are available online only, so don't show up at the gate expecting to buy one.
Bluegrass in the woods at dusk is one of those purely Nashville experiences that never gets old no matter how many times you've done it!
Liverpool FC vs Sunderland AFC at Geodis Park
SATURDAY
Reigning Premier League Champions Liverpool FC land on Broadway Saturday, July 25 at 5 PM for a preseason clash with Premier League rival Sunderland at GEODIS Park. This is a massive get for the city and the kind of match that will draw global soccer fans to Nashville for the weekend.
The Reds in Nashville on a Saturday in July. If you're even a casual soccer fan, this one's a no-brainer!
Cornelia Airpark Concerts at Cornelia Fort Airpark
SATURDAY
East Nashville's Cornelia Fort Airpark hosts its monthly summer concert series this Saturday, July 25 from 5:30-9 PM, with live music, craft beer, food vendors, and family activities at one of the city's most unique outdoor spaces, with all proceeds benefiting care of Shelby Park & Bottoms. It's a genuinely special East Nashville institution that most people outside the neighborhood still don't know about.
Good music, a historic airpark, and a reason to explore East Nashville beyond the usual spots. This one checks every box!
