Let’s get into it.
Our friends at Flavor Walk Nashville want to show you the city one bite at a time: flavorwalknashville.com
Tomato Art Fest
FRIDAY & SATURDAY
East Nashville's Five Points turns into a full-blown tomato celebration for the 23rd Annual Tomato Art Fest on August 7-8, with free live music, local art, food vendors, wacky contests (redhead contest, bobbing for tomatoes, tomato costume parade), kids activities, a Bloody Mary Garden Party, and costumes strongly encouraged. It's one of the most genuinely East Nashville events on the entire calendar, and totally free to attend and welcoming to everyone.
Don’t miss one of the best festivals in Nashville!
Blue & White Stadium Scrimmage
FRIDAY
The Tennessee Titans host their free Blue & White Stadium Scrimmage on Friday, August 7, at Nissan Stadium; practice begins at 6:30 PM; parking lots open at 4; gates at 5. First 10,000 fans get a free schedule magnet, there are discounted concessions and tailgate games on the concourse, and the night ends with a fireworks show.
This one carries a little extra weight: it's the final stadium practice ever held at the current Nissan Stadium!
PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
Bartender Bash
THURSDAY
Nashville Lifestyles Magazine's Bartender Bash returns to the rooftop of Fogg Street Lawn Club on Thursday, August 6 from 6-8 PM, with Nashville's top bartenders from spots like Pinewood Social, Cherries, Golden Sound, Mother's Ruin, and ZuZu competing for best cocktail using Deep Eddy Vodka and Lunazul Tequila.. and you're the judge. Tickets are $35 in advance ($40 at the door) and include unlimited samples, with DJ tunes from Alanna Royale.
A portion of the proceeds go to the Nashville Food Project!
Dog Nights of Summer
THURSDAY
Cheekwood's beloved Dog Nights of Summer is back on Thursday, August 6 from 5-9 PM, with pups welcome on the grounds for a stroll through the gardens, food trucks from Hautewheels, Millie's Homestyle Portuguese, Conscious Cravings, and The Pink Truck, dog vendors, and a live performance by Nashville-born singer-songwriter Justyna Kelley from 6-8 PM. Tickets start at $21 and are free for members.
Just remember to bring your own collapsible bowl for your dog!
Nashville SC vs. Atlético de San Luis
THURSDAY - SUNDAY
Nashville SC continues their Leagues Cup 2026 run on Sunday, August 9 at 7 PM at GEODIS Park, taking on Liga MX side Atlético de San Luis in Phase One group play. The Boys in Gold are in a stretch of three Liga MX home matches this month, with Club León and CF Monterrey also on the schedule. This is the tournament where Nashville made it all the way to the 2023 final, so the stakes and the atmosphere are real.
August is a great month to be a Nashville SC fan!
