River Steps Concert Series at Neuhoff District

THURSDAY

The Neuhoff District's free River Steps Concert Series is back for round two this Thursday, July 9, with Billy Allen + The Pollies taking the stage at 7 PM (gates at 6) along the Cumberland River, in partnership with Lightning 100 and with food and drink on site. It's golden hour along the river with free live music, which is basically the perfect Thursday night formula.

If you haven't made it to the Neuhoff District yet, this is the reason to finally go!

Thomas Rhett & Niall Horan: The Soundtrack to Life Tour at GEODIS Park

THURSDAY

Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan bring their co-headlining Soundtrack to Life Tour to GEODIS Park this Thursday, July 9, with doors at 4:30 PM and the show starting at 6 PM, joined by special guests Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts. It's a big outdoor stadium show with floor, pit, and premium club options, tickets still available through Ticketmaster.

What a Nashville mashup!

Frist Arts Fest at the Frist Art Museum

SUNDAY

The Frist Art Museum throws open its doors for the annual Frist Arts Fest this Sunday, July 12 from 1–5 PM, celebrating three major exhibitions; International Surrealism from Tate, Anila Quayyum Agha: Interwoven, and An Indigenous Present, with artist-led activities, live music in the galleries, docent tours, and family-friendly art making. Admission is free for members and anyone 18 and under, and $20 for not-yet-member adults.

Honestly art and live music on a Sunday afternoon is a better plan than whatever else you had going on!

Big Band Dances at Centennial Park

SATURDAY

Metro Parks brings its free weekly Big Band Dance Series back to the Parthenon Ellipse every Saturday through August 15, with free swing and jazz dance lessons at 7 PM and live music at 7:30, this week featuring the Music City Latin Orchestra. All ages, no tickets, just show up.

Get those free dance lessons!

Richland Park Farmers Market on Charlotte Ave

SATURDAY

Nashville's favorite year-round Saturday morning market runs every week at 4711 Charlotte Avenue from 9 AM to noon, with 80-plus vendors covering local produce, pasture-raised meats, farmstead cheese, sourdough, and international street food. It's the kind of errand that turns into a two-hour hang every single time.

Show up hungry, leave with too much bread and zero regrets!
